So how do you get started on your online business?
Well, the first thing you need to do is to come up with a niche, or an idea. Maybe your at-home business could be selling something. Maybe you could be a transcriber or do data entry from home. Perhaps you are interested in trying affiliate marketing. You need to start by asking yourself these questions:
- What do you know about?
- What are you passionate about?
- What kinds of things do you enjoy?
- What is popular online?
These are all questions you might ask to help you figure out where to begin your journey. Should you decide that you want to get involved with affiliate marketing, you don’t have to be a great writer or a salesperson. Just come up with something that interests you or could be beneficial or popular with others, and you can use that to start a website. When you start your training, you will see that you even get help on coming up with ideas for your niche.
Next, You Need to Train
There is no magical way to snap your fingers and have a successful and profitable website up and running. You need to learn how to do it. To be very honest, it took me about two weeks, working four or five hours a day, to go through the first Wealthy Affiliate training course. But by the time I was finished with it, I had a functioning website, and it was all FREE.
From there, I decided that this was definitely something I wanted to pursue further, so I took the plunge, signed up for the premium membership, and have never looked back. This features page gives you an idea of what is included with your membership:
The thing I really love the most about Wealthy Affiliate is the HELP….THE COMMUNITY. Every time I have been stuck on something I have either been able to search for related topics, or put a question out for the community and BAM…I received my answer! It truly is amazing to have that kind of support any time you need it. I even have the ability to send messages to Kyle and Carson (the creators) and they get back to me. How cool is that?
